US climate envoy John Kerry has called for renewed global efforts to address with what he said was the 'extraordinary crisis' of climate change

In Brussels for his first face-to-face talks with EU officials since the change of government in Washington, Mr Kerry warned: "We face an extraordinary crisis."

It comes as Britain is due to host a new UN climate gathering in Glasgow in November to renew the world's efforts. The US envoy was to sit down with European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen and her top team.

Why should we listen to private jet multi mansion elites . World leaders need to lead by example and get rid of the private jets and move into more frugal houses . You can not preach to people when you have a carbon footprint of a small town .

Ya man have private jets and about 10 gaffs. Beatin the shite outa this drum for years and making a packet. 'Climate envoy' 🤣👏👏

It's funny how it stopped being a crisis while covid was happening. Could it be they are interlinked? Get used to your 5km circle and not being able to fly folks

Couldn’t he have zoomed the information instead of flying over the Atlantic to preach?

One crisis at a time unless they are of course intertwined? We reopen first and then we consider climate change and not in any other order! It is time!
