Almost 25,000 Ukrainian refugees have arrived into Ireland thus far

Since the Russian invasion began in late February, over five million Ukrainian citizens have fled their country.over 6,000 empty homesHowever, the Irish Red Cross has noted that over half of the accommodation pledged by the Irish public has fallen through. It was very moving to hear the experiences of many our Ukrainian friends today. They have our full support in their time of need.

The huge local effort in Donamon, Roscommon, for their Ukrainian welcome centre is an outstanding example of the generosity of the Irish people.
