A train station in Dublin that has sat unused since it was built will finally open to the public this year after 14 years.

The €6 million Kishoge station, located between Clondalkin and Lucan, was built back in 2009 as part of the Kildare Route Project but housing for the area was never built and so the station was never opened.

"Due to the economic crisis, this development is only now materialising, hence the station has not opened in the interim."

Calls for protest 'exclusion zones' following sharp rise in number of Dublin demonstrations64 protests have been policed in Dublin so far this month compared to 307 in all of last year, representing a 'significant challenge' for Gardaí The Author. Let’s not ask or discuss why there is a sharp increase in protests. Or why Irish people feel compelled to get out on the streets lately. No. Let’s just have a moan about the increase in protests that “need policing” So you will soon not be able to protest at all. Hospitals, politicians, refugees .... We are becoming a dictatorship. Hate speech as well. How come the government has not presented it's refugee an to date? If you say boo about refugees you are called racist To be fair finding Wally is a challenge for the Gardaí
