Two players scoop life-changing amounts during €19 million bumper Lotto draw

An earth-shattering jackpot of €19 million was up for grabs, but it went unclaimed as no one managed to match the six numbers.

However, two players came agonisingly close, matching five and the bonus ball to take home a whopping €595,521 each.There was no winner of the top prize in the Lotto Plus One draw, worth €1,000,000.Here's a reminder of the winning numbers from the Bank Holiday Saturday Lotto draw20, 26, 32, 33, 40, 46 and a bonus ball of 9The National Lottery website crashed in the aftermath of the draw as thousands of punters looked to see if they had managed to take home the jackpot.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
