The scene of the attack in Ballyfermot Image: RollingNews.ie TWO MEN HAVE been charged following an assault on two Gardaí in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin.
The gardaí – one male and one female – were, according to the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors , “kicked and beaten on the ground”. The incident was filmed and later shared on social media. “I would condemn utterly what happened last evening. That attack on two gardai is reprehensible,” Martin said.
Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald also condemned what she referred to as a “shocking and disgraceful attack on two Gardaí”.

Lock them up and throw away the keys. If proven guilty they should be made an example of, if it happened in the US the people who assaulted the guards would have a gunshot wound if they were lucky
30 yrs in prison for both. 10 years for the person recording it

Fourth arrest after two gardaí assaulted in DublinGardaí have arrested a fourth person following an assault on two gardaí in Ballyfermot, Dublin last night. Both gardaí have both been discharged from hospital after being assaulted while responding to a public order incident at a pub in the early hours of this morning. 10 years straight without a court case! Tramps. 'They (Gardai) also requested that footage of the incident is no longer circulated online.' So RTE included the footage twice. Hehe. Amazing how it was all cleared up nice and quick when the armed gardai arrived but it was a total mess when it was just unarmed guards... Minimum 10 years for that could have ended alot worse
