Two men arrested in connection with Wicklow assault

Gardaí were called to reports of an assault at a property in the Ashfield estate at around 2.30am on Tuesday 2 August.

A man in his 40s was found with wounds to his head and was taken to St Vincent's Hospital. He was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where he currently remains in a critical condition. Two men, aged in their 40s and 20s, have been arrested and are being held at Bray and Wicklow garda stations.
