Edward Andrews, with an address at Belarmine Hall in Stepaside in Dublin, and Terry Meegan, from Ridge Hall in Ballybrack, were remanded in custody to appear again in court next week.
He is charged with the robbery of over €800 from the Centra shop at Barnhill Road in Dalkey last Tuesday week. Mr Andrews applied for bail but gardaí objected on the grounds of the seriousness of the charge and the possibility that more serious charges will be preferred.
