Tributes are pouring in for a Galway dad of five who died tragically in a road accident yesterday morning.
The Galway native, who worked as a machine driver, was the only occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident. A notice on RIP.ie called the death "unexpected," and added that the Clogherboy man is "sadly missed by his father Mick and mother Mary, brothers John and David, sisters Susan and Louise, nieces and nephew, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends."
With many unable to attend the funeral in person as a result of the measures, floods of well-wishers sent their commiserations to the family.
