Tributes paid to young GAA player killed in horror car crash in Ballyhale, Co Kilkenny

Tributes have been paid to a young man killed in a tragic car crash in Co Kilkenny in the early hours of this morning.Local councillor Matt Doran told the Irish Mirror: "The whole area is so saddened by the tragic news, our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole extended family and friends."

They wrote on Twitter: "As people will have heard in news bulletins there was a tragic accident in Ballyhale last night, involving a member of our Ballyhale Shamrocks club.
