Tributes paid as 'bright and talented' son of former MEP Mick Wallace sadly passes away

He is survived by his father Mick, mother Patricia and siblings Gráinne, Fionn and Sasha.

"We were on the campaign trail for the European elections when he got a bit of bad news about a month ago that there was another tumour,” close family friend and Mick’s election campaign manager Seanie O’Shea told Independent.ie. "We send our deepest sympathies to the Wallace and Barry families and all of his friends and clubmates. RIP Joseph."Independent TD Verona Murphy said “my deepest, most sincere sympathy to the Barry and Wallace families on your immense loss and all of his friends and clubmates."
