Tributes flood in for father-of-eight who tragically died in hit and run

Tributes have flooded in to popular Cork man Michael Burke who was tragically killed in a hit and run incident on Tuesday.

Online tributes were paid to the "lovely" father of eight who also leaves behind his wife Vanessa, CorkBeo reportsThis is the second tragedy to hit the family recently as Michael's father passed away just two months ago. "Please god look over his wife and 8 children, and his family who's already heartbroken from the loss of their father only 9 weeks ago, and now this, I'm truly lost for words".Another said "Very sorry for your loss rest in peace Michael Burke may you get the best bed in heaven"
