A Leitrim community is in a state of shock after young man Brendan Meehan died suddenly at the weekend.
A friend of Brendan's paid tribute to him via the local GAA club Kiltubrid saying he wished it was "just a bad dream". "Our dear friend Brendan has passed away tragically at his homeplace in Moherevogue. The tragic news began to spread last night. When we all woke this morning, we hoped and prayed it was just a bad dream.
