TOWIE's Frankie Essex reveals baby son needed emergency surgery after terrifying scare

Frankie Essex has revealed the scary moment her four-month-old son Logan had to have emergency surgery after a hospital dash.

Their baby boy suffered a health scare after routine vaccinations caused an abscess on his leg, resulting in emergency surgery to remove and cure the infection. Speaking in her OK! column, Frankie said: "So on Monday morning we went to the doctors and by Monday night, something didn’t feel right so we took him to A&E. He ended up being put in an ambulance to another hospital. Then the next day he had a scan so they could confirm that it was an abscess. The former TOWIE star described the ordeal as 'terrifying' for her and Luke, and although they asked for a different way to remove the abscess they were told surgery was the only option.

It isn't just son Logan who has been having health problems, as twin sister Luella has been diagnosed with torticollis, also known as tilted neck that is thought to be caused by the baby's position in the womb.
