Two members of the force are shown carrying an elderly woman's shopping bags as they escort her during the coronavirus crisis in Walkinstown, Dublin.Gardai posted the picture on the force's official Facebook page and added: "Thank you to a member of the public for sending us in this lovely photograph taken in the Walkinstown area earlier today.

Another picture put up today shows the heartwarming moment gardai delivered essential supplies to an isolated man in Co Limerick. An appeal was also launched for anyone who feels they need help to call the gardai, who will assist in any way they can.
