Tommy Tiernan Show viewers were left "fascinated" tonight after a thought provoking chat between Tommy and Brother Richard.Brother Richard is a priest-friar of the Irish branch of the Capuchin Franciscan order.
He spoke to Tommy about his way of life, what drew him to that lifestyle and his faith, sharing that he was drawn to the ways of St Francis after reading a book about him in secondary school. "I worked for quite a number of years as a chaplain in a hospital," he said. "There is no doubt in my mind after attending hundreds and hundreds of death beds that it is not just a stopping. Something leaves.
