Today FM star Paula MacSweeney is urging women to open up on maternal health, admitting her ectopic pregnancy was a lonely and heartbreaking time.
Paula, 34, told the Irish Mirror: “Having my son Roddy was no problem at all, I had never been pregnant before and it was all so easy. “My left fallopian tube was removed with the pregnancy and I remember being terrified asking my consultant, ‘Does this mean my fertility will be cut in half ?’ The radio star who presents the breakfast show on Today Fm wed Aidan Donnelly, two years after meeting the love of her life on Tinder.Paula is urging women to be more frank about how for many the journey to parenthood can be heartbreaking.
