Thousands march in Dublin and Cork in homelessness protest HousingForAll

Thousands of people have taken to the streets of Dublin and Cork for a major protest over homelessness.

Government figures out this week showed that a new record of 10,514 homeless people was reported at the end of October 2019 - a crisis that shows no signs of abating. Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy then narrowly survived a motion of no confidence in the Dail on Tuesday, by 56 votes to 53, mostly thanks to Fianna Fail abstaining.
