Winds gustings up to 150km/h uprooted trees which brought down power lines at the height of the storm across west Munster.
It is expected that as the storm continues to track across the country, further power cuts to homes and businesses are likely. The highest gusts recorded were at Mace Head in Galway, where 122km/hwas observed, while gusts reached 119km/h at Shannon Airport. — Met Éireann April 27, 2019 The N22 between Killarney and Cork and the N72 Killarney to Killorglin roads were among some of the main routes affected.
