’The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White is the ’top choice’ to play Bruce Springsteen in biopic

’Deliver Me from Nowhere’ starts shooting later this year When it was revealed that a Bruce Springsteen biopic was in the works last month, it generated feverish speculation amongst fans regarding who might actually play The Boss on the big screen. We even named five actors who might take on the role ourselves - but one name we never considered was Jeremy Allen White.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by British GQ The star of hit series ’The Bear’, and who can currently be seen in cinemas in wrestling drama ’The Iron Claw’, is reportedly in the running to play Springsteen in the biopic, which will focus on the events leading up to the making of his 1982 album ’Nebraska’. According to Deadline, the film is called ’Deliver Me from Nowhere’ and will be written and directed by Scott Cooper , and adapted from Warren Zanes’ 2023 book.
