Terrie McEvoy shares how her nursing career has influenced her health choices

The social media influencer, who is also a nurse, explained that there are certain aspects of her life that she’s more aware of because of her profession.

“Nursing has definitely influenced my life choices which have directly impacted my health. For example, I would never smoke as I’ve seen the outcomes and how it seriously harms your health by increasing the risk of lung cancer, respiratory diseases, and heart problems. “Always listen to your gut and never ignore something that’s not quite right or put it on the long finger and always keep up to date with all of your checks such as cervical screens and breast checks. Your health is your wealth!”

“I’m also really lucky in a sense that I have an incredible support system, I have amazing close friends that I feel like I could say anything to without feeling judged and an amazing husband and family. I find talking really helps me decompress.”
