Gardaí in Co Kildare are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car in Celbridge yesterday morning

The pedestrian, a male in his teens, was seriously injured and is in a critical condition at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact gardaí. They are also keen to speak to road-users who were travelling in the area at the time and may have camera footage. The number for Leixlip Garda Station is 01 666 7800, while the Garda Confidential Line can be reached on 1800 666 111.
