'Pinch points' on some Dublin Bus servicesThe National Bus and Rail Union has claimed there was 'mayhem' trying to accommodate passengers on a number of bus routes this morning after the 25% capacity rules came into effect. Where I live it was a disaster trying to get on a bus this time last year at full capacity, so I can't say I'm surprised. Any service running at 25% capacity only will present a huge disruption to its users, but again the public is to blame. No Govt plan beforehand at all. Asking people to leave much earlier is unrealistic and utter lunacy in order to accommodate Govt inefficiency in this pandemic. It was far from convenient or safer. It was so stressful to be refused to board on 3 buses this morning!!!!! Zero respect for essential workers!!!!
