Teachers and SNAs in Wicklow, Dun Laoghaire and Dublin South East received vaccines yesterday.

A FAILURE TO follow vaccination reserve list protocols led to teachers and Special Needs Assistants in a number of special needs schools in Dublin and Wicklow receiving Covid-19 vaccinations yesterday, according to the Minister for Health.

“That’s not something that’s meant to happen. It’s not something that’s happening nationally and it’s not in line with the protocols,” Donnelly told the News at One on RTÉ. Donnelly added that he has asked the HSE for a detailed report on the matter but that he understood no-one was trying to do anything wrong. He added that he did not know if any of the schools were in his constituency.

Donnelly and ‘error’..., seem to pop up in a lot of sentences lately..🤦🏼‍♂️

Why are the teachers threatening strike action when they will be finished for the summer in June. The Government have told us all that everyone should have been vaccinated by September, so why should the teachers be a priority?

3 They will continue this corruption unless they are stopped by the people. Time we ignored anything they say, and do as we see fit for ourselves. THERE'S NO POINT HAVING RIGHTS - IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE THEM! We have rights but we are not using them TOGETHER!

2 This is INTENDED by the government HSE and NPHET. They have intentionally messed up the vaccine roll out to longevity the lockdown. They know at this stage the Irish public are generally dense and acceptable to be abused and used.

DonnellyStephen LeoVaradkar MichealMartinTD paulreiddublin Ireland have been vaccinating the public with flu vaccines SEVEN years!!! This is by far the easiest task the government and HSE have had to do in the last 14 months. And it's like everything else a fu*k up

This guy ☝🏼

BS

Does anyone really believe that this was a mistake. It seems to me that the areas that received the vaccines was selected and appointments was set up last week.

Are the reserve lists drawn up and contacted the day before which kind of makes them just lists ? Anyway who would begrudge the SNAs should be getting it anyway, pupils and teacher/ assistants all high risk. Its just crap way we do things.

Digging himself futher into the hole...

Whats one more error , poor stephen is an error !

Is this in keeping with one o clock report by Rte? Did this report suggest they were texted scheduled appointments? Or am I starting to hear things which is possible, when one is participating in a circus?

More of the same, Incompetence of the highest order as per usual from HSELive roinnslainte fiannafailparty or was it...mmm...South Dublin and Wicklow?!?!🙄🤔

I remember when he was waffling in the Dail and the lefties thought he was a great political 🙄

If only he had some credibility eh.

More slight of hand. Disgusting.

Must remember to state 'reserve list error' next time I forget to pay my taxes

Donnelly is the biggest spoofer I’ve ever come across in politics. Watch him try explain that its in his constituency

'Leave us alone, we're just incompetent, not corrupt!'

If you ever wanted anything properly organised in this country, the very last people you would ever go to are the HSE. The Very Last People. They couldn't empty piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the sole.

Its should be noted that KPMG are also involved in the vaccine rollout

He surely has to resign now

Yet another error by HSE. What’s the odds that there will be no repercussions for paulreiddublin. DonnellyStephen action needs to be taken now

Teachers, SNAs in several special schools receive jabTeachers and Special Needs Assistants working in a number of special schools in the Wicklow, Dún Laoghaire and Dublin South East areas received vaccinations yesterday from the HSE, RTÉ News has learned. Such a pity parents and carers can't mount a strike and threaten to abandon our daughter disabled children or other family members as our teachers are inciting strike action. Cop on! Carers care 24 hrs a day even if you're lucky to have some support!! If they want to be vaccinated because they are working in a crowded environment, then surely all students, and pupils should be vaccinated as they are also in a crowded environment. I can understand why the teachers want a vaccine....they need to go on holidays for 2 or 3 months!!! They won't be able to go abroad on hols without this vaccine. What a shame....
