Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said the Government is “worried” about the winter months ahead as Covid-19 has taken a turn for the worse.He said: “We have to be nimble, we have to be quick to adapt but on the plus side, I've heard feedback that quite a lot of nightclubs are very happy with the fact that they're reopening.
Speaking to reporters in Brussels on Friday, the Taoiseach echoed remarks made by HSE boss Paul Reid who said he was “quite nervous” over hospital capacity as we head into winter while speaking on Newstalk radio. “All the Member States are now worried, in terms of what's happening in their countries because of Covid-19.”
“But at the same time, we've got to work to live with Covid, challenging and always will be, and we've got to do everything we can now to resource to help service.
