Just 11,600 passengers arrived on transatlantic routes and 7,800 departed on these routes.
Between January and August of this year, 3.8 million passengers travelled to and from Ireland, compared to almost 14 million overseas passengers over the same period in 2019 . The majority of passengers arriving into Ireland last month did so by air with 14 per cent by sea. In terms of those departing the country, 84 per cent did so by air and 16 per cent by sea.
Yep, I’ve had 3 x 1 week holidays since End July... Malaga, return flights, hotel, sustenance €700.... Greece, as above €500 and Berlin as before €800..... well worth booking to go, everybody needs a break. No issue travelling.. and another 3 booked before mid November 😏
Anyone outside locked down counties could have 3 b&b plus dinner for 2 people in early October in the lovely Diamond Coast in Enniscrone for, wait for it €199!!
