Stuart Byrne: Excitement of FAI Cup final day can be replicated more regularly

FAI Cup final day is the most exciting day of the year. But we could have more days like this in our season.

Yet it is what fans in other countries get to experience most weeks as they follow clubs in bigger leagues. That's a starting point, but there must be a serious conversation held on the back of Euro 2028 coming here and with the boost to the economy that will bring. Bohs and St Pat's played each other in the 2021 Cup final but only six of those who played that day will line out in tomorrow's decider.
