Storm Aiden will smash Ireland over the Halloween weekend with multiple warnings issued by Met Eireann.
In terms of the first one, an orange wind warning is in place for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry and Waterford. That particular warning was issued at 10am on Friday, 30 October and it's valid from 5am on Saturday until 10am on the same day. If you're living in those four counties, Saturday morning and afternoon is set to experience strong southwest to west winds associated with Storm Aiden. These will reach mean speeds of 65 to 80km/h, with severe and damaging gusts of 100 to 130km/h.
