The Ireland manager is not expected to be kept on beyond this month and has been linked with Lincoln City

Stephen Kenny says the FAI told him 'no decision has been made' when he sought clarity over his future.

Pauw was not kept on, whereas Kenny wants to continue - but he has been left in the dark, facing constant questioning from the media over his future as a result. “I would have taken on board the situation. But I live in the real world. I'm a realist. I understand that I've been under pressure and so forth.

And Kenny added: “I've been told no decision has been made, until after the New Zealand game so I'll take that at face value. I respect that. “I’m not going to reveal personal conversations.,” he said. “I think they know the culture within the team is brilliant, the staff are exceptional behind the scenes.
