Shamrock Rovers host St Pat's at Tallaght Stadium on Friday night

Stephen Bradley is braced for a St Pat’s response when Shamrock Rovers host the managerless Saints tomorrow night.

Bradley reached out to Daly this week and shared a text exchange with the Dubliner who guided St Pat’s to FAI Cup final glory at Aviva Stadium only six months ago.boss Bradley today. “But the owner, or whoever makes the decision there, wasn't too happy. But it's hard to comment as I don't know the ins and outs.”

“It's very, very difficult to sack a football player and rightly so as their contact protects them, but that's not the case for a manager and people forget that,” he said. “You don't know anything about his contract situation but a lot of the time in this country, the managers aren't protected by their contracts.

League of Ireland teams are so familiar with each other that St Pat’s are unlikely to rip up their blueprint under caretaker boss O’Connor.
