As Storm Atiyah approaches, the entirety of Ireland will be impacted by weather warnings.
Met Éireann issued three separate warnings at 8am on Saturday, including a Status Orange weather warning that will impact nine counties: Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick. Atiyah is set to bring some strong winds to these counties, and Met Éireann advise:"Southwesterly winds, later veering northwesterly, will reach mean speeds between 65 and 80 km/h with gusts between 110 and 130km/h, possibly higher in exposed coastal areas.The warning comes into effect early on Sunday morning and will last at least until 6am on Monday .However, the weather is set to be unpleasant no matter where you go. A Status Yellow warning is in place for the rest of the country.
For some of the country, the Status Yellow warning will remain in place from now until 1pm on Sunday. However, conditions will then worsen in some counties. For all of Leinster, as well as Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Tipperary and Waterford, this warning will remain in place until 6am on Monday morning.
