Dept of Foreign Affairs staff face questioning over lockdown gathering

The inquiry into the celebratory event at the Department of Foreign Affairs, after Ireland was elected to the UN Security Council, will involve staff being formally questioned and obliged to furnish any documents deemed necessary.

In what's described as the review's "terms of reference", the letter states that the department's human resource division will hold meetings with "all relevant staff members who were present on site in Iveagh House on 17 June 2020."
