Chief executive Prashanth Chandrasekar says firm is on a hiring spree and plans to hire 200 staff in the next year, emmetjryan reports.

Ireland is under consideration to host Stack Overflow’s new tech hub, according to Prashanth Chandrasekar, the company’s chief executive.

Stack Overflow is a software as a service company that specialises in providing technology information for programmers. Its online knowledge base contains over 15 million questions and answers for the industry. Last year, it was sold for $1.8 billion to Prosus, a Dutch conglomerate. “We are on a big hiring spree at the moment. One of the things we are doing, specifically for technical talent, is a tech hub,” Chandrasekar told the Business Post.
