Spotify 'regrets' Neil Young's choice to remove music

Spotify has said it "regrets" musician Neil Young's decision to remove his music from the platform over the spread of coronavirus misinformation.

It comes following reports that Young requested his content be removed from Spotify due to its hosting of the Joe Rogan podcast, which has been known to air vaccine-sceptical views."We want all the world's music and audio content to be available to Spotify users," the company said in a statement shared by US media outlets.

Poor chap thought he was bugger than Joe Rogan.

It doesn’t matter what you think of Rogan or anyone else’s view, censorship is never the answer. If you don’t like it, don’t listen. Not that complicated. If it was false information and false information is not allowed anywhere, there’s a hell of a lot of media censorship to do!

Love how they are allowing the misinfo to stay but are happy to remove his music. Not about money at all. I've never liked spotify. I know too many who have worked for them and the old boy's club they have.
