The government has announced that international travel will be allowed from July 19 but it won't be as we once knew it.
Spain Travellers can jet off to Spain with no mandatory quarantine needed on arrival. Some restrictions remain on dining and drinking, such as a maximum group of 4 allowed indoor and six outdoors. However, this will change if Covid case numbers rise and Ireland moves to a country that is not permitted to enter on the Italian risk assessment system.
This means a holiday to Iceland will not require a quarantine period once a negative PCR test is shown upon arrival or there is proof of vaccination.Germany Germany will also allow Irish tourists to enter without the need for a quarantine period.
