Sony smartphones may have fallen off the radar a little in recent years, but the Japanese tech pioneer is back with two shiny new handsets, and both are coming to Ireland in June.

Alongside the zoom, you get a 12MP ultrawide and 48MP main camera using an Exmor T for Mobile sensor on the rear, along with a 12MP front camera. Thanks to the lower screen resolution and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset , Sony says the 5000mAh cell offers up to two-day battery life, the longest battery life of any Xperia 1 phone so far.The phone ships with Android 14 and the firm promises three Android OS updates and four years of security updates.
