Son warned the whole squad must stick together and “get tighter and stronger” after their end-of-season collapse left their top four chances hanging by a thread

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min has insisted Spurs will not give up on reaching the Champions League .

Spurs striker Son said: “Everyone wants to play Champions League but there's still three games to go, we have to give everything. We don't know what's going to happen. Football can sometimes be magical. We keep believing in our game, we try to focus game by game in our last three games, try to give everything.

“As I said before, this is the time and opportunity to get even stronger and come together. When things are going well, it's all easy. But in tough moments everyone has to get it together and help each other.” Meanwhile, Spurs midfielder Yves Bissouma echoed the view that they must finish the season well to restore some pride.
