Wicklow County Council confirmed this morning that the food franchises at the location will also be closed. “We regret the inconvenience caused and would ask members of the public to observe HSE guidelines as regards social distancing,” the council said. In a statement on Tuesday, the National Parks and Wildlife Service said there has been an increase in people using parks.
In all fairness I don't remember the HSE advising us that you can pick up the virus by walking by someone on a footpath. I was out walking in Carlingford myself and there was loads of people out enjoying the beautiful spring day. I didn't come into contact with anyone for 15 mins
