Lisa Smith is accused of being a member of the unlawful terrorist group Islamic State outside the state between October 28, 2015 and December 1, 2019.

If her husband was still alive I wonder if she would have stayed there, as a woman without a man's protection she didn't have much options after he died....
It's ok for politicians to make money over political decisions but not the armed forces/defence forces personnel who actively undertake/accrue this decision sometimes paying the ultimate price.
Maybe if she binned the headgear she might get a little sympathy
