Six elephants have fallen to their deaths after trying to save each other from a waterfall in Thailand, authorities said.
The incident occurred after a baby elephant slipped over the waterfall in central Thailand's Khao Yai National Park.Two other elephants were also found in difficulty nearby, thought to be attempting to rescue the calf, but authorities successfully removed them to safety.The waterfall has been closed to the public temporarily following the incident.
