Professor Philip Nolan said that last week 'by every indicator we had more disease and more severe disease than any point in 2020'

It will be at least six weeks before cases of Covid-19 drop to around 100 a day, according to the Chair of NPHET's Epidemiological Modelling Advisory Group.

"Last week by every indicator we had more disease and more severe disease than any point in 2020. We still have 170 people in ICU. That is an extraordinarily high number." "Those key priorities are set out and focused on education of young people and ensuring our health service has minimum levels of Covid to deal with," he said. Prof Nolan also said that double masking does give added protection, but is only needed if people are in close proximity with others.Health Service Executive CEO Paul Reid has said that good trends in the number of cases of Covid-19 are providing some relief in the hospital system.

At the same time the great Minister for Health Stephen Donnolly (Meholes choice) says that the most vulnerable ie over 70's will not be vaccinated until mid May. Do these guys have any clue what there at.

so more disease during lockdowns? This just proves we might as well reopen

Herd immunity 😉

More heart disease, more cancer, more depression, more suicides, more children self-harming, more elderly not eating because they have been 'locked up' for nearly a year , more elderly dying because of a highly experimental drug administered to them - he is probably right💔

By 'disease' does he mean people who had developed symptomatic Covid 19 or does he mean people who have tested PCR + for Sars-Cov-2? Disease sounds more dramatic but Prof Nolan is not supposed to be providing PR for the 'pandemic' he's supposed to be accurate.

Philip Nolan is saying covid 19 is going to follow the same path as last year like other endemic corona and flu virus that peak in the winter month he is just trying very hard to correlate it to match their lock down

And then we open up for the meaningful Easter? Is that the “plan” Prof?

Constant negativity constant deflection from the shocking vaccine rollout.

He can say what he wants nobody will challenge him.

Vaccines in nursing homes.

That's crazy, because Sweden was doing the same thing
