It's been a great week for 'Sister Act' fans - what with the Bord Gais Energy Theatre production kicking off in Dublin this week AND Whoopi Goldberg, Jenifer Lewis and Tyler Perry chatting further about the planned sequel film.is still very much on the horizon, with Whoopi Goldberg still up for appearing as nun-on-the-run Dolores AKA Sister Mary Clarence.both of the 1992 and 1993 cinematic releases, has been gathering steam this week thanks to the US daytime talk show.
"So we’ve got a good script. We’re off to a great start. We’re just trying to get everybody moving in the right direction so we can get it going." Earlier in the week, the incredibly talented Broadway star and actor Jenifer Lewis also chatted briefly with Goldberg about 'Sister Act 3' on the show; she originally appeared in the first film as one of Dolores' backup singers at the beginning of the film.
