Ireland Under-21 international Sinclair Armstrong's performances so far this season have impressed everyone at QPR.

The former Shamrock Rovers striker has made a blistering start to the new season with Championship side QPR.

And he was agonisingly close to netting in back-to-back games when his effort in last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Ipswich Town struck the inside of both posts. “Since I walked in the door I’ve known this boy has some of the key attributes required to be a top, top striker.Armstrong made 22 appearances in the Championship last year for QPR without scoring, but only three of those were starts.

“I’ve told him I will buy him a full sized mirror so he can look at himself, see that shape and use that frame to really become a striker who backs in and holds the ball up as well.
