Simon Delaney's family life, €32,000 TV shot and career before Ireland AM

One of Dublin's finest sons, Simon Delaney has been a household face on Irish TV screens for the last 20 years or so.

However, the 50-year-old broke his silence on Sunday and said he'll be returning to screens at the end of the month. Everything was going according to plan. Delaney was on €16,000 but was stuck on the next question which was about the meaning of Feng Shui."I reached that question and said, 'you know what Gay I've had a lovely day, I'm gonna take the sixteen grand and I'm going to take it'. He said to me 'well have a little think, what's your thought process?'" he said.If he got the question right, he'd guarantee himself €32,000.

In more recent times, Delaney has found a new home as one of the hosts of Weekend AM on Virgin Media 1
