Cambridge FC have reported the vandalism to gardai.

Dublin football team Cambridge FC have been left 'shocked and disgusted' after vandals caused serious damage to its nine-a-side pitch.

Cambridge FC have condemned the vandalism and said that the clubs importance is increasing as anti-social behaviour continues to rise in the capital. The club said this is not the first time such damage has happened. Many took to social media to condemn the damage and offer their support to the club. Cambridge FC also said they'd be reporting the incident to gardai and called for further supports.

"Last season we were privileged to add our “Football for All” teams to the club also to expand the service provided by the club.
