Shelbourne 1-2 Bohemians: League leaders upstaged by local rivals in Tolka Park

'The Only Show In Dublin Town’ screamed the huge Shelbourne banner unfurled before kick-off on a tense derby night.

One frustrated Shels fan wasn’t buying the Bohs ‘injuries’ and let roar with an angry cry of ‘it’s like a f****** A&E ward, ref’. Before their meltdown leading up to half-time, Shels were doing fine even if they struggled to work goalkeeper Kacper Chorazka directly. Bohs hadn’t created a great deal and when Chorazka suspiciously went down for treatment, the game had to be stopped and it allowed Bohs regroup.

Kearns went the right way for the penalty but skipper Flores, shooting into the packed Ballybough end housing the Gypsies faithful, swept it beyond his reach to the corner.
