Secret phones owned by 'Dublin Jimmy' led to arrest of three over brutal torture of Kevin Lunney

A secret stash of phones owned by dead mob boss Cyril “Dublin Jimmy” McGuinness led to the arrest of three people over the brutal torture of Kevin Lunney.

Yesterday, two men and a woman were arrested in connection with the bloody attack on the Quinn Industrial Holdings director on September 17. “The phones were bought for him by a female known to McGuinness and gardai have been looking for this woman.” The source also claimed the mobiles are a vital link to nailing the paymaster responsible for financing the Lunney torture gang and that further evidence will narrow the search and also expose others involved. The two men – one in his 20s and the other in his 40s – are being detained under the Criminal Justice Act.

“A postmortem examination was carried out on Monday, November 11 and the cause of death has yet to be established.“We are liaising with the family of Mr McGuinness and we will continue to keep them informed as our work progresses.”Derbyshire police officers were executing a warrant at the property in Fairfield, near Buxton, at around 7am last Friday when Mr McGuinness became unwell.
