A Goat, now nicknamed Houdini due to her ability to evade capture, has stolen the hearts of the nation.
Houdini was spotted running around the streets of Kiltimagh in Mayo on Sunday, and a picture of her standing on the doorstep of Byrne’s Total Health Pharmacy has since gone viral.She is believed to have been caught and put in a field, awaiting transport to her new home in Charlestown’s Furry Friend’s Animal Sanctuary, but escaped again during the weekend.However, no one has claimed ownership of the escape artist- and Mayo SPCA have been on the outlook for Houdini since.
“If anyone has an opportunity to hold on to her for us by enclosing her in a field or garden until she can be taken to Charlestown, we would be very grateful- and she will too once she sees the lovely place waiting for at Furry Friend’s Animal Sanctuary!” Valerie McHugh, a spokesperson for Byrne’s Total Health Pharmacy, says: “It’s funny to see Houdini take the internet by storm and we’re delighted she decided to visit our pharmacy! We try to cater for everyone here at the store and hopefully Houdini will be found safe and sound very soon!
