Script singer Danny O'Donoghue reveals battle with rare illness: 'I could die'

The Script singer Danny O'Donoghue has revealed his secret battle with rare illness Wilson's disease that poisons his blood.

"I was born with a ­disease called Wilson's disease, which is a blood disorder. And the blood disorder is I can't ­metabolise ­copper, so it's poisoning me slowly, slowly, slowly. He told Paul McKenna on his podcast: "For me to know just how brief this life is in infinity — we are a click. The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue revealed he no longer speaks to any of his “friends” who didn’t call him when his mother died.
