There have been massive gains across RTE Radio 1 and 2FM in the latest book of JNLR figures, with The Nine O'Clock Show, Morning Ireland and weekends on 2FM benefitting

Ryan Tubridy's former show on RTE Radio 1 has seen an increase of 13,000 listeners, latest JNLR figures show.Ryan was taken off air in June before leaving RTE in August. There is no permanent host for the show but Oliver Callan, Brendan Courtney, Maura Derrane and Ciara King have all fronted the slot.

Today with Claire Byrne has seen an increase of 8,000 listeners with an overall listenership of 331,000, while The Louise Duffy Show has gained 1,000, bringing the total to 213,000.Drivetime has 219,000 listeners tuning in, The Brendan O’Connor Show on Saturday has 335,000 listeners and 323,000 listeners on Sunday, while Sunday with Miriam has 272,000 listeners.

Over at 2FM, the breakfast show with Doireann, Donncha, and Carl has 149,000 listeners tuning in on weekday mornings, which is an increase of 11,000. Dan Healy, Head of RTÉ Radio Strategy and RTE 2FM said: "2FM continues to grow audiences right across the seven days of our schedule. We have seen our share of 15 to 34 olds increase to 12.4% for this period off the back of excellent performances during the weekday for Doireann, Donncha, and Carl, Jennifer Zamparelli, Tracy Clifford and The 2 Johnnies.
