It's been taken off air until February

RTE Radio 1 show Late Debate has been cancelled for the news few weeks due to the impact of the latest wave of Covid-19.The news was announced via a statement on the Late Debate's official Twitter account which read: "We're off air for a couple of weeks due to the effects of Covid on staff and guests.Late Debate normally airs on RTE Radio 1 between 10pm and 11pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night.

The hour-long show sees presenter Katie Hannon host live debates, in-depth interviews and analysis of the biggest political stories of the day. Late Debate hasn't been on air since it's final episode before Christmas on December 16.One wrote: "None of the other current affairs programmes are doing this. Why is it always you?""No other radio programme has gone off the air during the Pandemic as much as Late Debate," a third added.
